  Love it here. Staff so attentive and friendly. Food hot and excellent quality. Lovely bar area for drinks before meal. Very reasonable. A hidden gem!

  Have visited twice now, The Waterloo is definitely a place we'll stay at again. We received a friendly welcome from all of the staff from the moment we arrived. They were polite, courteous and welcoming. The rooms were spacious, well decorated and very comfortable. On our second visit we had an evening meal with family; each meal was delicious and moderately priced. The full cooked breakfast can be tailored to suit your tastes at no trouble to the owner/cook. Very much a home away from home, with an illustrious and interesting past!!

  Very old styles B & B. Foods are fantastic including breakfast. In a run down location. Beds are not so comfortable. Prices are on the higher side. You can get better hotel with that price in Newport.
